This interdisciplinary role, situated at the intersection of the Medical and Chemistry faculties, focuses heavily on research (65%) and academic teaching (25%). The successful candidate will join the Biophysical Chemistry and Diagnostics working group, primarily dedicated to elucidating receptor and transporter mechanisms using time-resolved infrared spectroscopy. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting and interpreting biophysical and biochemical experiments, advancing infrared spectroscopic methods for proteins, isolating proteins from bacterial cells, and preparing scientific publications. Additionally, the role involves developing and delivering modern scientific content within the medical curriculum. Key qualifications include a Master's degree in Biochemistry or a related field, extensive practical experience with infrared spectroscopy on human proteins, and proficiency in preparing recombinant proteins. Required Skills
