Calibration Technician | Kalibriertechniker/in (m/w/d)

Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive calibration and metrology support within a leading defense systems company. The Calibration Technician will be responsible for creating calibration certificates, performing in-house and external calibration of optical and mechanical measuring and testing equipment, and developing new calibration procedures, including measurement uncertainty analysis. A key part of the job involves actively contributing to the advancement of measurement methods, particularly using optical measurement systems like Zeiss ARAMIS, and managing externally performed calibrations. Candidates should possess a qualification as a state-certified Technician in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with experience in metrology, calibration, and programming. The position requires strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Calypso, and a willingness to travel internationally to support customer contracts and calibration activities.
