Job Summary

Join a motivated and competent team within the Census 2031 major IT project, focusing on critical contract and resource management tasks. This role involves independently designing contractual documents in German, preparing tender documents in collaboration with central procurement offices, and actively contributing to the methodological development of the Contract and Resource Management department. You will advise leadership on managing external service providers and commissioning processes, and provide expert input for resource-related decisions. The position requires a background in Law, Administrative, or Economic Sciences, coupled with strong expertise in contract law, particularly IT service and work contracts. If you possess excellent analytical skills, a structured approach, and native-level German proficiency, this is an opportunity to secure democracy by providing essential facts through effective project steering and resource control.

Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Master's / Diploma-Uni. / Magister) in Law, Administrative Sciences, or Economic Sciences. (Note: Full lawyers require two state legal exams with a minimum of 13 points combined.)

Experience

  • Professional experience in contract management, ideally focusing on IT work and service contracts
  • Experience with the creation and evaluation of contracts
  • Knowledge of EVB-IT (Supplementary Contractual Terms for IT) is advantageous
  • Knowledge of procurement law, preferably in public administration (IT procurement)
