Job Summary

This role is a critical position as an Electronics Development Engineer specializing in Naval Solutions, working for HENSOLDT Optronics in Oberkochen. The engineer will manage the entire development lifecycle of complex hardware components, from initial requirement definition through to series production. Key daily tasks include designing high-performance power electronics, mixed analog-digital circuits (OpAmp, ADC, DAC, FPGA, Power-MOSFET), motor control circuits, and implementing Power Factor Correction (PFC). A major responsibility is the detailed design of multilayer PCB layouts using advanced technologies (SMD fine-pitch, BGA, TH), ensuring impedance control for high-frequency signals, all while maintaining strict adherence to IPC, VDE, MIL, and EMC standards. The position requires coordinating mechatronics and software interfaces, integrating systems for video processing, and defining qualifying tests. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering, professional experience with the V-Model, agile tools, and fluency in German and proficient English.
