Job Summary

This role is for a Development Engineer specializing in Power Electronics and Automation, contributing to the design and development of high-end radar, optoelectronic, electronic warfare, and avionics systems for HENSOLDT Sensors in Ulm. Day-to-day responsibilities include mapping technical system requirements to specific segments, conducting feasibility studies, assigning application requirements, describing system interfaces, defining infrastructure, and specifying and performing system integration and self-testing. The ideal candidate must possess a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Automation Technology, coupled with professional experience in technical documentation. Key technical knowledge required spans drive technology, environmental design concepts, and PLC programming. Success in this position demands strong communication and teamwork skills, a high level of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent. Fluency in German and proficiency in English are mandatory, offering a pathway to permanent employment with the client.
