Job Summary

This role involves executing critical emission measurements for industrial clients, particularly within energy supply and combustion plants. The Technician will be heavily involved in the planning, preparation, and execution of field measurements, including the setup and dismantling of complex measuring equipment, functional testing, and calibration of instruments. A significant portion of the work involves on-site sampling of pollutants and meticulous creation of measurement protocols. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or scientific background (e.g., environmental protection, measurement and control technology, or electrical engineering) and initial professional experience in measurement or analysis technology. This position requires a high degree of autonomy, reliability, and customer orientation, with frequent travel (80–90%) across North Rhine-Westphalia, often including overnight stays (20–30%).

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical or scientific vocational training (e.g., Environmental Protection, Measurement and Control Technology, Electrical Engineering, Chemical or Process Engineering) or equivalent qualification (e.g., Chimney Sweep, Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician)
