Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity to join one of Europe's leading IT service providers, supporting numerous major corporations. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing essential on-site support, handling IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities, and managing ticket resolution. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting hardware issues, setting up and dismantling workstations, managing the inventory of notebooks and mobile devices, and providing initial user instruction on new equipment. A key component of the job involves managing the lifecycle of hardware, including imaging and wiping notebooks, and supporting technical aspects of both in-person and remote meetings. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in IT systems integration or electronics, coupled with initial experience in on-site support and ticket management. The position requires flexibility to work in alternating early and late shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday) and demands strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Initial experience in onsite support
  • Experience working with ticket management systems
  • Professional experience in hardware inventory management
