Job Summary

This critical role involves establishing and expanding the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework for the core IT system of the German Pension Insurance, ensuring operational resilience during crises. The manager will conceptualize and develop the BCM framework, aligning it with regulatory requirements such as ISO 22301 and BSI Standard 200-4. Key responsibilities include conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk analyses to identify time-critical processes and vulnerabilities. The position requires developing, maintaining, and testing emergency and recovery plans in close collaboration with specialized departments and IT, including moderating exercises and training sessions. The ideal candidate possesses a scientific university degree and multi-year experience in BCM or crisis/risk management, preferably within regulated sectors. Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university education (University Diploma or Master's degree) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Multi-year experience in Business Continuity Management or Crisis/Risk Management
  • Experience in regulated sectors (e.g., financial services, energy, public administration) (ideal)
  • Experience in Project and Process Management, especially in interdisciplinary contexts (desirable)
