Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Infrastructure Administrator based in Freiburg to manage and operate the core IT systems. Day-to-day tasks involve hands-on administration of the virtualization environment (VMware), Windows Server systems, and specialized network components including LAN/WLAN (HPE Aruba, Lancom), firewall systems (SonicWall), and SD-WAN solutions (VeloCloud/Arista). The administrator will provide essential 2nd and 3rd-level support, contribute to infrastructure optimization, and participate in a structured, rotating weekly on-call schedule. Candidates must possess a completed IT-related degree or vocational qualification, professional experience administering VMware and Windows Servers, and solid knowledge of network and firewall technologies.
