Job Summary

This role seeks an Environmental Measurement Technician to conduct emissions measurements for industrial clients, focusing heavily on energy supply and combustion plants. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, preparation, and execution of measurements, including the setup and dismantling of complex measurement equipment, functional checks, and calibration of devices. You will be responsible for on-site pollutant sampling, creating detailed measurement protocols, and supporting the evaluation of collected data while coordinating customer orders. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or scientific background (such as environmental protection, electrical engineering, or process engineering) and initial professional experience in measurement or analysis technology. This position is highly field-based, requiring extensive travel (80-90%) within North Rhine-Westphalia, often including overnight stays. Strong German fluency and a driver's license are mandatory for this challenging and critical role focused on safety and sustainability.

Completed technical or scientific training (e.g., Environmental Protection, Measurement and Control Technology, Electrical Engineering, Chemical or Process Engineering) or comparable qualification (e.g., Chimney Sweep, Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician)
