Job Summary

This critical management role in Berlin involves leading the Patient Management and Finance department for a Bundeswehr facility, overseeing approximately 20 employees. The core responsibilities encompass the entire revenue cycle, including patient admissions, cost assurance, billing for both stationary and outpatient services, dunning, and comprehensive financial accounting. You will be responsible for steering and optimizing work processes and ensuring strict application of relevant hospital-specific legislation (KHG, KHEntgG, BPflV, SGB V). A key function is participating in the preparation and negotiation of annual budget and fee agreements, conducting economic, financial, and investment analyses, and supporting the expansion of the hospital information system (Nexus) to meet billing requirements. Candidates must possess a degree in Hospital/Health Management or a related financial field and demonstrated experience in hospital law and IT systems. This position offers an attractive, permanent contract (TVöD EG 12) with options for full-time, part-time, and home office flexibility.
