Job Summary

This crucial role focuses on developing and implementing the future strategy for Software Defined Defence (SDD) within the Cyber and Information Space Command of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The specialist will concentrate on DevSecOps methodologies and modern Software Factory concepts, ensuring their integration into national capability development and procurement. Daily responsibilities include drafting conceptual papers, managing implementation risks associated with SDD measures, and monitoring compliance with multinational interoperability guidelines in military projects. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation (up to pay grade E13 TVöD, or A13/A14 for civil servants) and a specialist allowance of up to €1,000 gross. The position offers flexibility, including home office options, and the potential for transition into civil servant status, making it highly appealing for experienced IT professionals dedicated to advanced defense technology.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or University Diploma in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
