Job Summary

This role, based in Frankfurt am Main for DB InfraGO AG, seeks a (Junior) Electrical Engineer to serve as a Railway Construction Supervisor, specializing in critical railway electrical systems, particularly overhead line and 50 Hz facilities. The core responsibilities involve ensuring construction projects adhere strictly to contracts, monitoring the performance of construction firms, and guaranteeing safe site operations. The supervisor maintains a holistic view of the construction sites, managing coordination among internal and external stakeholders, documenting progress, and rigorously overseeing costs, schedules, and quality. You will be responsible for approving construction invoices and organizing the acceptance of construction services. A key requirement is a degree in Electrical Engineering and either having completed the Railway Construction Supervisor training or demonstrating the willingness to acquire this crucial qualification. The position requires flexibility for site work, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
