Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the comprehensive renovation of the Lehrte – Berlin (North Section) railway infrastructure for DB InfraGO AG. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of control, command, and signalling (LST) and telecommunications (TK) sub-projects. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all technical installations between Lehrte and Oebisfelde are modernized within a strict five-month window involving large-scale track closures. You will work closely with sub-project managers to deliver high-quality results on schedule and within budget, handling everything from proactive supplement management to meticulous documentation. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree (Fachhochschule or Universität) in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable technical field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management of infrastructure projects, specifically rail systems.
  • Experience in the fields of control, command and signalling (LST) or telecommunications.
  • Proven track record in handling complex technical tasks from inception to completion.
  • Experience with German construction and contract law (HOAI, VOB, VOL) is preferred.
  • Experience in proactive supplement management and project documentation.
