Job Summary

This role is ideal for a scientifically or technically trained professional looking to specialize in environmental emissions monitoring. Initially, you will undergo an intensive 6-12 month training period to acquire comprehensive, practical knowledge in emissions measurement, working under the Federal Immission Control Act (§ 29b BImSchG). Day-to-day tasks involve preparing for measurements, meticulous documentation, sampling pollutants, and evaluating results. Post-training, you will independently manage projects, conduct emissions measurements according to relevant standards, analyze data, and create detailed measurement plans and test reports. This position involves significant fieldwork in the Baden region, often requiring overnight stays, offering a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to actively support customer acquisition and manage existing client relationships in environmental technology.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Environmental Technology, Process Engineering) OR completed technical vocational training (e.g., Chemical-Technical Assistant, Environmental Protection Technical Assistant, Chimney Sweep, or Mechanic)

Experience

  • Experience in emissions monitoring or emissions measurement technology is advantageous
  • Professional experience working with relevant norms, guidelines, and regulations
  • Experience in customer care and acquisition is implied
