Job Summary

This critical role involves managing environmental and nature conservation permitting, specifically focusing on compensation management for high-voltage construction projects within the Bayernwerk Netz GmbH. The manager will be an expert in natural conservation compensation, actively driving land acquisition for species and nature conservation offsets, and ensuring compliance with environmental, nature, and species protection laws. Key responsibilities include managing and documenting offset areas, coordinating implementation, concluding necessary contracts, and maintaining long-term development of these areas. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Biology, Landscape Ecology, or a comparable field, possesses knowledge of relevant environmental law, and is proactive in developing new compensation strategies, working closely with authorities, associations, and internal partners to secure legally compliant and practical solutions for a sustainable energy transition.
