The specialist will actively contribute to the European energy transition by developing innovative methods for security of supply assessment, utilizing data, models, and IT tools to simplify complex energy systems, and creating foundational analyses for energy policy decisions. Key responsibilities include analytical support for the German capacity market and effective internal and external communication of results. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, possesses strong expertise in market modeling, simulation programs, and advanced programming skills, particularly in Python, along with deep knowledge of the energy industry. The position offers a highly international environment within the Elia Group, requiring fluent proficiency in both German and English.
