This Research Associate role focuses on cutting-edge sustainable energy research at the University of Kassel, specifically optimizing photosynthetic hydrogen production in cyanobacteria. Day-to-day responsibilities involve applying advanced biochemical and molecular biological expertise to enhance the efficiency of hydrogenase fusion with Photosystem I, optimizing electron transfer, and ensuring metabolic stability in mutant strains. The ideal candidate holds a scientific university degree and a successfully completed PhD in Biology or Biochemistry.
