Job Summary

This critical role involves leading a team of 10 Embedded Linux and Functional Safety Developers for a key provider of communication, computer, and control technology in the rail and embedded electronics sectors in Nuremberg. The Team Lead will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team, coordinating resources with Project Managers, and taking charge of smaller projects in collaboration with the PMO. A core part of the job is fostering team cohesion, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement in internal software development processes. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong leadership skills, and excellent technical knowledge in Linux systems, containers, C, Python, Git, and CI/CD. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for effective communication and collaboration within this high-stakes technical environment.
