This role is critical in driving the digital transformation of metering operations for a leading regional utility company committed to the energy transition. The Specialist Metering Point Operations will focus on developing and maintaining stable, efficient, and future-proof digital processes. A key responsibility involves translating complex legal requirements, particularly those stemming from the Metering Point Operation Act (MsbG) and data protection regulations, into clear, practical operational procedures. You will work closely with strategic system management to optimize IT systems and interfaces crucial for smart metering, remote reading capabilities, and data quality assurance. Success in this position requires operating effectively at the convergence of technology, IT, and regulation, ensuring seamless process functionality. Candidates should possess a degree in Energy Economics or a certified technician qualification, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of relevant energy regulations (MsbG, EnWG, DIN VDE, TRGI & DVGW).
