Job Summary

As the Group Lead for Secondary Technology and Network Technology at NEW Netz GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in driving the energy transition and network digitalization in the Lower Rhine region. You will provide disciplinary and technical leadership to an interdisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and specialists, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical power, gas, and water distribution infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include managing personnel deployment, overseeing the planning and maintenance of secondary systems (protection, control, and telecommunications), and steering investment budgets. This role is unique for its high level of strategic influence, as you will actively shape network automation and IT/OT security architectures for critical infrastructure.
