Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim as a Process Development Engineer specializing in Compounding and Coating, focusing on disposable manufacturing. The position involves comprehensive planning and execution of technical work, including cross-functional coordination, resource provision, and managing laboratory and technical center operations. Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing compounding processes, developing and refining testing methods, and manufacturing development samples. The engineer will be responsible for meticulous documentation, statistical analysis of results, and maintaining equipment readiness through maintenance and troubleshooting. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) with at least three years of professional experience in process and product development, specifically with compounding and application procedures in both web and batch processes. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required for this fixed-term contract position.
