Job Summary

This role involves working as an Aerodynamics Laboratory Technician, primarily responsible for the integration and instrumentation of wind tunnel models, including mechanical and electromechanical components. Key day-to-day tasks include applying strain gauges, supporting the creation of model and calibration concepts, and performing maintenance and repair on wind tunnel models and data acquisition systems. The technician will also assist with quality assurance for outsourced components, support in-house 3D printing for model manufacturing, and participate in test preparation and execution of wind tunnel tests at external facilities, requiring occasional travel. To succeed, candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, professional experience in measurement technology application, aerodynamics laboratory work, and wind tunnel testing. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and proficiency in both German and English are essential for working in this dynamic, innovative, and future-proof aerospace environment.
