Job Summary

This role is for an engaged Electrical Engineering Technician or Mechatronics Specialist focused on managing obsolescence cases for Electronic, Electrical, and Electromechanical (EEE) components. Day-to-day responsibilities involve systematic obsolescence risk management, including lifecycle monitoring using database tools, defining countermeasures, and collaborating closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Procurement. The specialist will also revise delivery specifications, generate reports, and prepare decision-making documents for management and clients. A key part of the job is actively shaping and continuously developing the company-wide obsolescence management strategy. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive knowledge of lifecycle management and relevant EEE standards, particularly for the Defence and Aerospace sectors, and is proficient with database tools and digital Part Lifecycle Management systems. This full-time position in Heilbronn offers the potential for permanent employment after an initial contract period and includes hybrid work options after successful onboarding, with a salary ranging from €65,000 to €75,000 per year.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field, ideally with further training as a state-certified technician or a university degree.
