Job Summary

This role involves providing essential 1st Level IT Support and consultation to users within the Federal Office for Family and Civil Society Affairs (BAFzA), a key authority under the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth. The Service Desk Employee will handle user support via phone hotline, remote administration, and on-site assistance, focusing on software products, hardware diagnostics, and problem resolution. Key responsibilities include managing a ticketing system (creating, qualifying, and resolving tickets), handling equipment requests (including mobile devices), assisting with personnel changes (like office moves), and contributing to IT inventory. Candidates must possess a relevant technical vocational qualification (e.g., IT System Electronics Specialist or System Integration) and proven experience in 1st Level Support, along with strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, client management, and Microsoft Office suite. This position requires shift work (early/late) and occasional business travel, offering a stable, permanent contract within the federal public service.
