Job Summary

This role involves driving digital transformation within Accounting & Controlling by focusing on Process Intelligence and Hyperautomation. The Data Scientist will be responsible for creating transparency in end-to-end processes using Process Mining and Analytics, defining technical process models, and independently developing relevant data models and event logs. Day-to-day tasks include designing user-friendly frontends and dashboards (potentially based on IBCS standards), leading scoping and value-generation workshops, and identifying optimization and efficiency potential with stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a background in Data Science/Analytics (e.g., Business Informatics or Statistics), and practical experience developing Process Mining/Analytics solutions, ideally within Finance & Accounting processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute actively to the operational and technical evolution of the Process Mining stack and build a scalable Process Mining and AI-Automation architecture in a predominantly remote setting.
