Job Summary

The Materials Tester will be responsible for planning and executing various material tests to determine properties, structure, and mechanical characteristics. Day-to-day tasks include preparing samples, conducting tests such as tensile/compression/bending tests, impact tests, hardness tests, spectral analysis, and metallographic examinations. A core function is summarizing the results and generating detailed test reports. Key qualifications include a completed apprenticeship as a Materials Tester or a degree in Materials Engineering/Science, coupled with excellent proficiency in laboratory measurement and testing equipment, and good written and spoken English skills.
