Job Summary
As a Software Development Engineer for Radar Systems, you will join an innovative team at FERCHAU focused on complex embedded development projects within the aerospace industry. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve developing and implementing algorithms for radar testing systems, optimizing existing radar software, and integrating these systems into established platforms. You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, including planning and executing software and system verification tests, performing code reviews, and maintaining technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in real-time software development for embedded systems
- Proven experience in C++ and Python programming
- Experience with requirements management tools, specifically DOORS
- Experience in the development and optimization of radar software algorithms
- Experience in conducting software and system verification tests
Languages
Additional
- The position requires a level of B2+ German as it is the primary working language of the project. Work location includes options for mobile work.
