Job Summary
This role involves defining device architectures based on customer needs, working closely with hardware and software teams within an international defense contractor based in the Ulm region. The Hardware and Subsystem Engineer will define requirements for software, hardware, and FPGA components, and plan and execute development, integration, qualification, and verification activities. Key responsibilities also include developing backplanes and EMC filter circuits, supporting system integration and verification, and managing subcontractors. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, detailed knowledge of MS Office, and exhibit strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
