Job Summary

This role involves designing, configuring, and installing digital hardware and software components within complex, heterogeneous laboratory and test environments, specifically focusing on Windows and Linux systems, servers, clients, IP networks, and virtual machines. The Digital Hardware Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining sophisticated IT simulation systems, including air-gapped systems, and creating concepts for both manual and automated installation and configuration. A key aspect of the job is the maintenance and continuous development of existing systems, involving troubleshooting hardware and software configurations. Furthermore, the role requires setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating build and release processes through scripting, and closely collaborating with agile teams across System Engineering, Software Development, Testing, and DevOps. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field and have robust knowledge of system architectures, network technologies, and IT security.
