Job Summary

The University of Bremen is seeking an experienced Technician/Engineer to join the Institute for Electrodynamics & Microelectronics (ITEM), focusing on microelectronics, nanoelectronics, and embedded systems. This role is crucial for maintaining and expanding the technical infrastructure, including server and communication systems, and administering specialized integrated circuit design tools like Cadence and Synopsys. Day-to-day responsibilities involve providing technical support and guidance to students and researchers on design implementation, contributing to research projects, and managing the development of the design flow for integrated circuit manufacturing using nanometric technologies. The ideal candidate holds a technical university degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses substantial professional experience in Linux/Windows network administration, server clusters, and programming in TCL, Python, and C/C++. Experience

  • Long-term relevant professional experience (minimum 3 years)
