Job Summary
This role as a Laboratory Assistant at the Center for Biochemistry within a leading German University Hospital offers a vital opportunity to support cutting-edge research teams investigating molecular and cellular mechanisms of health and disease. Day-to-day responsibilities are centered around essential laboratory service management, including meticulous control and ordering of consumables and supplies, cleaning and preparing complex lab equipment, and ensuring glassware is properly sterilized. A key function involves the preparation and autoclaving of necessary solutions, media, and other laboratory materials. The successful candidate will also serve as the primary contact for goods receipt and internal mail distribution. Candidates must possess relevant professional experience or suitable training, paired with strong service orientation, reliability, and the ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively within a dedicated team environment. This is a full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with potential for extension and permanent employment, offering excellent internal training opportunities and public sector benefits.

Suitable vocational training or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific or technical field
Experience
