Job Summary
This crucial role involves acting as the Deputy Head of Department for Time Management, focusing on ensuring efficient and legally compliant working time and duty roster administration, particularly within a large organization, ideally a hospital environment. The professional will serve as the central point of contact between HR, various professional groups, and management, driving the sustainable development of standardized time management processes. Key responsibilities include providing expert consultation to managers on labor law (specifically the Working Hours Act and collective agreements like TV-L/TV-Ä), deriving data-driven recommendations, and supporting complex workforce planning. The position requires strong analytical skills, digital affinity, and experience with digital duty planning systems (like SP-Expert or plano), alongside leadership support for team development and strategic process optimization. This is a demanding, full-time, permanent position offering significant design freedom and a secure environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed business administration degree with a focus on Controlling, Accounting, Health Economics, Human Resources Management, or Labor Law; or a law degree; alternatively, relevant commercial/administrative vocational training with an additional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in working time or duty roster management in large organizations, ideally within a hospital environment
- Foundational knowledge of the Working Hours Act and collective working time regulations (e.g., TV-L, TV-Ä/TVöD)
- Interest in digital workforce planning and understanding of underlying parameters
- Experience in supporting leadership and team guidance
