Job Summary

This role involves actively participating in diverse network projects and managing the operational stability of network environments for prominent German automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturers. As a Network System Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of router and switching systems, specifically Cisco hardware, and managing access technology utilizing both copper and fiber optics. Day-to-day tasks include responding to and resolving network disruptions, monitoring, documenting, and troubleshooting the network based on a ticket system. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT Specialist) or equivalent qualification, professional experience in network environments, and proficiency in TCP/IP. Flexibility for working shifts between Monday and Saturday is required, and a CCNA certification is considered a significant advantage. This full-time, permanent position is initially offered through temporary employment with the option for direct takeover.
