Job Summary

This role involves providing essential Onsite Support and Second Level IT support for a chemical company's IT infrastructure in Brunsbüttel. The Service Technician will be responsible for directly assisting users at the service point, troubleshooting issues both remotely and locally, and managing hardware repairs for devices including desktops, notebooks, tablets, smartphones, and mobile scanners. Key responsibilities also include installing operating systems and software, configuring new client devices according to specifications, and supporting IT component relocations. The ideal candidate must have a completed IT qualification (e.g., IT Specialist or IT System Electronics Technician) and practical experience in Second Level Support and troubleshooting hardware/software issues. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Client Applications, networking, and client-server infrastructures is required, along with proficiency in both German and English.
