Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Network Technician to join a company supporting the network environments of prominent German automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturers in Nuremberg and Salzgitter. Day-to-day responsibilities include active participation in various network projects, responding to incoming fault reports, troubleshooting, and developing appropriate solutions. A core focus is ensuring the operational readiness of router and switching systems, particularly Cisco infrastructure. Candidates will manage, monitor, document, and resolve network issues using a ticketing system, and maintain access technology based on both copper and fiber optics. The ideal candidate holds a completed IT qualification, ideally a CCNA certification, and possesses professional experience in network administration, especially with TCP/IP. This full-time, permanent position offers an attractive salary up to €48,000, flat hierarchies, extensive further training opportunities, and the option for permanent employment after an initial temporary contract.
