Job Summary

This role seeks a structured and technically adept Onsite Support Specialist based in Gernsbach, ready to act as the primary technical troubleshooter for a leading IT consulting firm. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing and resolving 1st and 2nd Level Support requests, collaborating closely with internal IT teams and external service providers. Key tasks include detailed documentation, creating status reports and analyses to identify trends, and proactively suggesting improvements to support processes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the repair and restoration of software and images for desktops and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments, alongside providing support for mobile phones and contributing to various IT projects. The ideal candidate possesses professional IT experience, excellent knowledge of end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, phones), and strong skills in IT Service Management. This full-time position offers a pathway to permanent employment (option for takeover) within a company dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable IT solutions to mid-sized businesses.
