Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for a Junior System Administrator to join and actively support the IT department of an established translation services company in Geisenhausen, Lower Bavaria. The position involves the crucial tasks of monitoring and maintaining both Microsoft and Linux server landscapes, administering data services, and managing virtualization environments using VMware and Citrix. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd level support to the staff, contributing to IT security initiatives, and assisting with the maintenance, repair, and expansion of the overall IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess formal IT qualifications, practical experience with Office 365, Windows Server 2016/Windows 10, and networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Firewall). This is a full-time, unlimited contract position, initially offered via temporary employment with a strong option for permanent takeover, featuring flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.
