Job Summary

This role seeks a flexible IMAC Technician to provide essential IT services on-site in Salzgitter, supporting the commercial vehicle division of a major automotive manufacturer. Day-to-day responsibilities are centered around hardware lifecycle management and end-user support. You will be tasked with troubleshooting errors, performing installations of PCs, notebooks, and monitors directly at the customer's workplace, and conducting basic software configuration after an initial training period. A significant part of the role involves logistics, including transporting new hardware from the warehouse, managing end-device inventory, retrieving old equipment for disposal, and preparing items for shipment. The ideal candidate should have initial experience in an IT environment, preferably in end-device rollout or IMAC services, and must be proficient in German.
