Job Summary
This role involves driving technological innovation within the plant engineering sector by taking on challenging automation projects for renowned clients. The Automation Technician will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning through to final commissioning. Key responsibilities include creating and adapting PLC programs and automation concepts, programming PLC systems (with or without commissioning), redesigning visualizations, and overseeing test runs and modernization efforts. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or a relevant technical certification, and brings at least three years of professional experience in PLC programming, preferably within the Siemens environment. This position requires a self-reliant and analytical approach, strong skills in visualization software like WinCC or TIA Portal, and the willingness to undertake occasional business travel, contributing deep expertise to multidisciplinary teams.

Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable field, or vocational training with further qualification as a Technician
Experience
- At least 3 years in PLC programming
