Job Summary
This role involves developing cutting-edge automation systems specifically for custom machine construction within a globally active, medium-sized mechanical engineering company specializing in welding technology. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for creating visualizations, configuring drive inverters, and independently commissioning control systems and entire plants both domestically and internationally. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or a technical qualification in Automation Technology, combined with at least three years of hands-on experience using Siemens Step7 or TIA Portal. The position requires practical knowledge of drive technology (e.g., Sinamics, SEW) and good command of the English language, along with a willingness to travel up to 35% for commissioning and service work.

Experience
- At least three years of user experience with Siemens Step7 or TIA Portal

- Professional experience in the development of automation systems
- Experience with visualization software like WinCC Flexible or TIA Portal
