Job Summary

This role involves developing and leading innovative strategic programs and projects focused on enhancing performance and collaboration within the Supplier Quality Development (SQD) function and with external business partners, ultimately boosting the effectiveness of strategic purchasing. Day-to-day tasks include planning, tracking, and reporting project progress, managing budgets and resources across cross-functional teams, and utilizing problem-solving methodologies to identify challenges and mitigate risks proactively. The ideal candidate will build and maintain a global expert network to strengthen supplier quality knowledge worldwide, promote knowledge transfer, and organize training on quality topics and new technologies. You will develop systematic methods, new approaches, and standard process guides based on functional excellence and digitalization projects. Success requires a proactive self-starter with a background in business administration, engineering, or a related field, possessing strong strategic thinking, leadership skills, and fluency in English.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree or comparable qualification in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar area

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in business administration, engineering, or a similar field
  • Professional experience in strategic purchasing, supply chain, quality assurance, or engineering (alternative qualification)
  • Experience in leading and moderating programs and task forces
  • Experience leading virtual, multi-functional teams in an international environment
