Job Summary

This role is with LEW Verteilnetz GmbH, a regional distribution network operator focused on the secure operation and significant expansion of its 36,000-kilometer power grid, driving a climate-friendly energy future. The Electrical Engineer will be a key player in standardizing medium and low-voltage (MV/LV) systems and street lighting infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks involve planning, analyzing, and optimizing renewal, restructuring, and maintenance measures, including technical risk assessment, lighting calculations, and managing bulk lamp replacements. A core focus is the standardization of materials and construction methods, managing material master data, handling claims, and monitoring market innovations. The ideal candidate is an Electrical or Energy Technology Engineer with experience in planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of 1kV and 20kV power supply networks, proficient in MS Office, and eager to learn new IT systems like SAP. This position requires strong analytical thinking, the ability to grasp complex correlations, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to developing future-proof technical concepts.
