Job Summary

This role involves strengthening the organizational security culture through comprehensive training and coaching for administrators, developers, managers, and product owners, covering offensive security, security by design, and secure coding. The consultant will be responsible for creating and evolving security policies and guidelines, identifying potential security risks, and advising product teams on integrating security requirements. Key duties include conducting vulnerability and risk assessments, collaborating closely with the Security Operation Center (SOC) and development teams, and managing the coordination and remediation of identified vulnerabilities using relevant KPIs and dashboards. Candidates need multi-year professional experience in technical security consulting, cloud security, and application security, coupled with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, and fluent German and English skills (C1 level). This position is ideal for a proactive, analytical professional focused on prevention and rapid vulnerability resolution within complex IT and cloud environments.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, IT Security, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or comparable qualification. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP, GIAC) are a plus.

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in technical security consulting

  • Experience with complex corporate structures and conflict resolution
  • Experience with arc42 or comparable frameworks (advantageous)
