Job Summary

This role focuses on ensuring the reliable and economical operational management of critical 16.7 Hz electrical systems for DB Energie GmbH in Borken (Hessen). Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance with network strategies, verifying and processing switching requests (EbsÜ-Anträge), and ensuring all necessary schematic diagrams for overhead lines and switchgear are current and approved. The specialist will actively participate in construction projects, attend site meetings, and be involved in commissioning, acceptance testing, and Bit-Tests. A crucial organizational duty is coordinating and securing training for switching service managers and examining switching applicants. The ideal candidate holds an IHK Master Craftsman or Technician degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses long-term experience in electrical operations, and holds specific switching authorizations up to 110 kV. This permanent, full-time position offers comprehensive responsibility within essential infrastructure operations.
