Job Summary

This role involves planning and engineering maintenance and investment projects within railway signaling and control technology (LST) for DB InfraGO AG in Karlsruhe. Day-to-day responsibilities include the secure planning of various signal technology types, ranging from mechanical interlocking systems to modern electronic interlocking systems (ESTW) and level crossing safety systems. The specialist will conduct internal quality checks, ensure compliance with relevant regulations (DB standards, VV BAU-STE, TSI), and advise internal colleagues on project feasibility and requirements within LST. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or LST, possesses strong technical comprehension, and demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented, and independent work ethic to manage complex infrastructure projects for future generations.
