Job Summary

ELAC SONAR GmbH is seeking a dedicated Electronics Engineer specializing in hardware development for advanced electroacoustic devices and systems, primarily focusing on hardened marine and defense applications. This role is central to the hardware lifecycle, involving the conception, development, and verification of both analog and digital circuits, as well as the creation of associated layouts and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include developing hardware and firmware (using C and Assembler on DSP/Microcontroller platforms), modeling system architectures using UML, and commissioning prototypes, followed by rigorous debugging and verification testing. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, possesses several years of professional experience in hardware development and near-hardware programming, and is proficient in ECAD tools. Success in this role requires a meticulous, goal-oriented approach and fluency in both German and English.
