Electronics Engineer | Electronical Engineer (m/w/d)
ELAC SONAR GmbH
Job Summary
As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of hardware for electroacoustic devices and systems, specifically for hardened marine and defense applications. Your daily responsibilities include developing analog and digital circuits, creating layouts using ECAD tools, and programming low-level firmware in C, Assembler, and VisualDSP on DSP and microcontroller platforms. You will be tasked with modeling system and software architectures in UML, commissioning prototypes, and conducting rigorous debugging and verification tests. This role requires a high degree of coordination with interdisciplinary teams and external suppliers to ensure technical specifications meet customer requirements. The position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract, 35-hour work week under the metal and electrical industry collective agreement, and the flexibility of up to 60% mobile work. You will work in a family-like atmosphere with flat hierarchies while contributing to complex, high-stakes international defense projects.
