Job Summary

Join Symate GmbH, a specialist in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data, to advance their Detact® AI system. This role, available immediately in Dresden, Erfurt, or Rostock, focuses on the functional programming of core backend services. You will be responsible for the further development and potential new construction of microservices and software components, ensuring the provision of robust data processing pipelines and REST-like interfaces using OpenAPI. The position requires deep engagement with functional programming in Scala (2.13 and potentially 3), utilizing libraries such as Cats Effect, Fs2, and Tapir. Working alongside a diverse team of developers, mathematicians, and engineers, you will contribute to making industrial production processes smarter and more efficient through automated data analysis and AI implementation.
