Job Summary
As a Scala Backend Developer at Symate GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-driven process optimization. Working on the 'Detact' AI infrastructure, your daily responsibilities will include the further development and construction of microservices and software components, as well as the implementation of data processing pipelines and RESTful interfaces using OpenAPI. You will work within a specialized 30-member team of developers, mathematicians, and engineers to visualize and analyze complex industrial data. This role is highly technical, focusing on functional programming with Scala 2.13 and 3, utilizing modern libraries like Cats Effect and Fs2. The position is attractive due to its flexible working model (including partial home office), a permanent contract, and the opportunity to work with high-end industrial processes for global clients like BMW and Audi. You will have the creative freedom to develop independent solutions in a collaborative environment that values clean, high-performance code.
